WEEK AQUA About Taxes
When the customer receives the goods, taxes must be paid to the local shipping company (such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx), in accordance with the import regulations of each country.
Once the product arrives in your country, please proactively contact your local shipping carrier to complete the customs procedures.
For example, in EU countries, the VAT ranges from 19% to 21%. In Japan, a 10% consumption tax applies.
The customer is responsible for paying these taxes directly to the shipping company in order to receive the package.
The amount of tax is calculated based on the invoice document we provide, which lists the contents and value of the shipment.
The lower the declared value on the invoice, the less import tax the customer is required to pay.
As an experienced exporter handling a large number of shipments, we can suggest an optimal declared value based on our expertise.
This allows us to help our customers maintain better profit margins.
If you have any specific requests regarding the declared value, please feel free to contact us.
